A warm summer day during the start of winter in Melbourne allowed for a quick lunch walk. Whilst I did bring my lunch in to work, an opportunity to catch up could not be passed and I ventured a little further than I normally would. Well, for lunch spots anyway.
If there is one thing a seasoned traveller knows, it’s that it’s the little corner shops that often make the best meals. And I am so glad that I can bring you this little gem.
In the vein of Don Don, this place provides the best value meals that I’ve found. Usually at low prices, you think that either the quality or speed would be compromised but neither happened to be the case.

Teriyaki Chicken Don
The teriyaki chicken don tasted like home cooked chicken plumped with marinated flavour and the rice has the light sticky element that provided just enough of fun and fullness to keep you satiated. So impressed with the meal that I literally didn’t need to eat dinner. It was that good.

Kagawai Entrance
You need to get in early or you won’t get a seat. The service was efficient and the food delicious… what more could you ask for?
If anything, this place is now a new favourite local place and one that I will be endeavouring all my team members to come join!
