Location

Located in Knox Ozone, this is one of the main stays of the area. Eating in here, it oozed of charm and the menu was enticing. What I found was the owner treated everyone like family, something I found quite endearing.

Food
The food was good. Because I am adding two reviews in one, I am going for the average.
The scrumptious black bean stir fry beef was everything you could ask for in a dinner. The beef was tender and well cooked with the gravy having the right consistency.

Previously, I enjoyed their version of the Fried Keow Teow and it was good. Though I wouldn’t rate it as highly as the main stay from Junior Tans in Bayswater. Having said that, as a stand alone meal for the Knox area, this was a solid entry.

The cost of the meal was reasonable beyond doubt and the portions aligned with the price.

Ambiance
The interior was definitely warm and inviting. The best part was that even though it is on the main thoroughfare in the Knox Ozone traffic, I found the place to be quiet and enabled you to have polite conversations with your dinning partners.

Service
As you order at the front, the drinks, always come out first. I really liked that they put ice in their glasses on hot days and you don’t even need to ask for it. It’s this little touch that won me over. However, seeing all the regular customers come around and have a chat with the people and took genuine interest in their lives. Interestingly, the customers took just as much of an interest with the owner.
