You would have missed the amazing White Night Festival. But never fear, Nige is here. These are just some of the highlights of this amazing adventure.
First, when you have decided to go to the festival, you need to check out my hints and tips here. Go on, I’ll wait for you.
Back? Alright, then let’s get on with the photos. I was trying to work out, “how I can show the awesomeness that was White Night”? And it hit me, like a flash – a picture essay! All these photos are unedited (apart from being optimised for the web) and are for your enjoyment. If this doesn’t tempt you to go, I’m not sure what will…
By the way, I would single-handedly recommend the Carlton Gardens exhibition. My gosh, the words, the music and the imagery. They were all simply spectacular. This was the only video I could find of the event, if there are others, please let me know and I will add it in!
Though here are a few of my favourite ones!

Owl Projection at Carlton Gardens

Wolf Projection at the end of the Show
Melbourne is known for it’s wicked sense of humour!

I found this colour quite contrasting

I don’t know this guy’s name, but he was bored. I’m glad I could put a smile on that dial. Thanks for volunteering!

The queue was ridiculous but the lights were too beautiful to ignore.

The insane rush of people

That colour scheme on the spire was a great backdrop

You need to hear this guy’s music. The upload is coming soon. His voice is simply spectacular.

I’m not quite sure what it was, but everything inside me kept calling him… The White Night.
I really hope you enjoyed this post – it was so much fun to photograph. Plus kudos to my friend Dr. Zee who decided to come on this daring adventure at the last minute!
