Brooklyn is made up of many diverse people and cultures. And one of the longest-running migrants to the place were the Syrians. This is the best middle eastern place in Brooklyn and for good reason!

We had this pastry, that… for the life of me, I cannot quite put into words. But it was fluffy, delightful and delicious to boot. Plus the internal fillings reminded me of spinach and ricotta cheese but it clearly wasn’t.And you cannot skip out on the baklava. Or halvah as they call it. It’s made completely different to what you expect to get from Melbourne. And if you’re in town, you need to stop and get some too!
