The Melbourne AGL building opened in 2015 and is right above the Southern Cross Station. What I found to be quite fascinating is that the rumblings and toots from the trains did not pierce the entire building.

We were lucky enough to get to hear the architect give a presentation to us. And you could see the pride of which he spoke about seeing the building he imagined come to life. What was even more surprising was that he was willing to admit that there were some items that were cut out but only for aesthetic reasons more than anything else.
