Melbourne Open House: Signal

The central point that contolled the flinders street station interchange. It went unused for a long time till the City Of Melbourne decided to restore and save the location. The views in there are quite amazing and the history in pictures was worth the slow scroll through.

Now:
Signal is a creative studio for young people 13 to 25 years located on Northbank in the heart of Melbourne. The program offers young people the opportunity to work alongside professional artists in a collaborative way, through multi-artform workshops and mentoring.

Signal provides emerging and established artists with opportunities and spaces for exploration, creation and showcasing.

Melbourne Open House: State Library of Victoria – Queen’s Reading Room

This room, in it’s hey day was spectacular. Or perhaps it’s my love of black and white photography that is tainting my views. If that’s the case, the current restoration will give you some idea of how amazing this place is.
