This is the first movie in the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) that actually made me feel like… this was a complete movie.
Seriously. After the hilarity of Thor, I didn’t know what I was going to expect. And then here, Marvel lays it out nicely.
Without giving anything away – the storyline is great. Yes, it’s another origin story, but the way the movie laid it out, it’s worth going to see. You see a man, who has been hurt and is dealing with that – thrust upon him a powerful responsibilty – and dealing with choices, ones that he didn’t make but does what is right. Even though it’s a hard choice.
Furthermore, the one line that really stayed with me was this:
It’s hard for any man to be king. But it’s even harder for a good man to be king.
In one word: brilliant. Go see it.
It was fine. If also a little formulaic. Nice review.

I think most movies are. I found that Black Panther did not try hard to be amything other than a decent movie.
