As part of my neighbourhood’s ongoing effort to support out local and favourite restaurants, we decided to check out Mountain Thai. We all put in an order, and one person went and collected it all. And here’s what I have come to love about this place.

Location

Located in the leafy suburbs of Boronia, there is ample of parking around the outside. However, in this time of COVID-19, parking and picking up is your best bet.

Food

They say, that when testing a new restaurant of a cuisine, always go for thier most famous dish. Like, if you went to a burger joint, don’t get their fancy schmany burger. Get the classic beef burger combination and you will know.

I got the Beef Pad Thai and it was really nice. To be fair this is the first time I have eaten from a takeaway container.

I found the beef to be a little tough but the vegetables and noodles really sparkled. It was just, amazing. If I could learn how to cook vegetables like that, I would never eat out again!
