Having lived in my hood for so long, I feel sad that I never visited this place. But I guess better late than never. Here is why you should stop into Boronia Charcoal Chicken and Chips.


I got the half chicken and chips with gravy. MAKE SURE YOU GET THE GRAVY.

So the chicken was really tender and delicious. I have normally eaten this from the major supermarket chains. And well, look they were good but not that good either. So I have always had apprehension in ordering this from a store.

But I am so glad I did do this! It was a fantastic option and I am grateful to my neighbours for suggesting it. We did it as part of our second Saturday catch up to support our local businesses.

Their chips and gravy combination was exquisite. Well seasoned and the gravy was nice and thick too. So damn delicious!

You should go and check it out for yourself. This is a hidden gem for sure.
