Gami has got it going on in Knox

Finally opening in Knox, I no longer need to go far for good delicious chicken. Introducing my family to this deliciousness was worth it.

What I liked at this location was that they had a pictorial version of their menu. Kudos guys! And it was instantly obvious who were the regulars and who were trying it out for the first time. I had my selection chosen because of the last time I had been to one of their city stores. And in doing so, I knew exactly which one to get.

First of all, I recommend getting a seat on the inside. It’s way too cold to have it outside.

Second, make sure you order things with light meals first followed by the mains, as you will always be grazing. What I recommend? IMG_7609Well, the Kimchi Pancake is perfect and a staple favourite of mine. Spiced in just the right way and vegetarian – scrumptious! However, I then decided to try the Maandu and yes.IMG_7607 It was another good choice!! Just quietly, I think that was too much, but alas, for my dear readers, I will go to any lengths to make sure you get the  right review.

The mains has to be the boneless chicken. I always choose the Sweet Chilli as a sauce and let my other dining companions choose whatever else they’d like. I wasn’t a fan of the Honey Mustard but that was my own personal choice.

IMG_7606This time, I also ventured out of my usual Scotch/Bourbon/Whisky selection and had their beer. This, my friends, was the perfect accompaniment to the meal and the fact you can get 5 glasses to a jug – you’re laughing.

Overall, I found the service to be ok – they weren’t very attentive and this was dependent on the server. The atmosphere and decor was on point.
