I was introduced to Chapter Too on a whim. I had a friend recommend it and said I HAD to go there. Especially for their breakfast menu. So when he was back in town with another good pal – the adventure began!

Location

Heathmont is a nice suburb in the outer east. The interesting thing, is that it also holds a lot of hidden gems – and there will be quite a few that I will be sharing in the coming months. So keep your eyes peeled for it!

Food
Normally reserved for couples, the Sharing is Caring breakfast was an enormous feast that was just right for BM and myself. Plus, given that I had piked on our last catch up, I thought it was only fair for me to let him choose our option.

One of the things I did notice was the prominent feature of no alterations to the menu. And the split bills. So much so, that I found it quite distracting. But then again, it’s a much better idea to work the idea out with your people before you sit down to eat in the first place. And that’s a whole seperate conversation piece.

Sharing is caring comes with eggs anyway you like, smashed avacado, persian feta, Chef’s bircher muesli, chipolata, fried tomato, haloumi cheese, two has browns with sourdough and sourdough fruit loaf with honey labna.

The muesli was amazing and a great pallete cleanser. To be honest, everything on this board was delicious. And once I began eating one, it just continued on. I honestly couldn’t stop. It was THAT good.

Cost
At $40, I think it was a fair price point. Though I wasn’t a big fan of their coffee. Something within it, just… didn’t sit right with me. It kinda felt rushed and unloved. Which was interesting because the restaurant wasn’t busy at this time.

Ambiance
I liked the decor. It was wide and open yet warm and inviting. I loved the art on the walls too – one that bought a smile to my face as a local!

Service
Their service was top notch – I liked that it didn’t take them long to take our orders, nor did it take long for them to deliver the meals.

Plus extra kudos to the person that was serving us and heard BM wondering about the singular restroom facilities and she pointed out the spare one straight away!
