Movie Review: The Martian
Matt Damon seems to get lost a lot recently. First we had to save Private Ryan, bring him back from his Interstellar space mission and now he got lost on Mars. Seriously. We could save a lot of money if we just left him. Continue reading
Docklands Lunar Markets
This is the first time I am actually disappointed in an event.
Don’t get me wrong. I am glad that the Docklands location is finally getting some well deserved attention. But the food truck event that they had previously was the best one in Docklands to date!
Given that I don’t have many nice things to say about this place – I shall just leave you with some pictures.
First of all, this place was WAAAAAAAAAAY over priced. There was one location that was selling 10 mini dim sims for $23. That really put me off. Then when I looked into the cost associated with these stalls, the prices that they were asking from these establishments bordered on complete and utter ridiculous. And to top it off, they wanted an additional 30% from the daily profits?
Better luck next time. Go for the views, and bring lots of spare cash or you will be left feeling hungry and disappointed.

Look out Dockers, there’s a new Hawkers in town (Hawker’s Corner: Docklands)
2015 has been the year of the Char Keow Teow. And admittedly, it’s absolutely amazing that the more I dream of the dish, the more restaurants that open up that serve it. Continue reading

The Trap that loves you Tenderly
There is something to be said about finding a location in the heart of the suburbs with an unassuming foreground that always tantalizes the imagination. How could a place like this exist so far away from the city centre? And with all it’s exclusivity, you know you’re in for a treat.
