The Melbourne AGL building opened in 2015 and is right above the Southern Cross Station. What I found to be quite fascinating is that the rumblings and toots from the trains did not pierce the entire building.

Winter Night Markets 2015
The 2015 winter night market is on again and you need to go.
They have included a new fun thing called the silent disco whereby people have headphones and are linked to the same channel that tells you the actions you need to complete. There is nothing like a bunch of people just silently moving up to you and busting a groove to bring a smile on your dial. Especially if you have no idea what they’re doing.

As far as I was concerned, I had no idea what they could possibly used for when I first entered the place and saw those disused tracks along the main roads. But if you remember that “Journey of Discovery” aka my walk along the 4 mile beach that turned out to be an amazing half day adventure. Continue reading
Melbourne Open House: Coop’s Shot Tower and Museum
I didn’t quite catch what this place was all about. From what I gathered is that they used to make shots. How and why? I don’t know. This was towards the end of my tour, having clocked close to 20,000 steps and been walking for 2 hours straight without water and food. (I didn’t get the chance to eat).
